Downloaded VCDS software installation file, turn off internet, follow the steps to install the software correctly VCDS,You must install VCDS software on your computer's hard drive!( When installing software, please not plug cable with your PC!!)
Please dont run directly from other media VCDS software, the software may not run correctly
You can use a CD or USB flash drive to copy files to install VCDS on your computer hard drive you want to install, and then install it.

The appropriate diagnostic cable to connect the computer to the vehicle and turn the ignition switch of the vehicle, but it is not necessary to start the engine.

Click the [System Configuration], and then select the correct communications port
Click [Test] to confirm VCDS program can use the correct communications port, find diagnostic cables
Then click [Save]
